My name is Rea Hasa, and I am the founder of Institute of Rea.
I come from a background where technology is not just studied it is applied, tested, secured, and scaled in real environments.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, with a strong focus on network security, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies. Over the years, my professional journey has taken me across cybersecurity, electronic security systems, marketing strategy, and education, allowing me to develop a multidisciplinary perspective that is rare but essential in today’s digital world.
From Engineering to Cybersecurity and Business Reality
My career began in the technical field, working closely with security infrastructures, surveillance systems, alarm monitoring, and cyber resilience strategies. In highly regulated environments such as the banking sector, I gained first-hand experience in risk management, data protection, compliance, and incident response, where precision and responsibility are not optional they are critical.
At the same time, I worked in international technology companies, managing regional marketing strategies for Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia. This dual experience taught me something essential:
technology only creates impact when it is understood, communicated, and implemented correctly.
Teaching, Training, and Knowledge Transfer
Alongside my industry roles, I have always been deeply involved in education and training. As a lecturer and trainer, and through international programs such as Erasmus+ and professional cybersecurity academies, I have worked with students, young professionals, and organizations to translate complex technical concepts into practical, usable skills.
This experience revealed a major gap in the market:
many people study technology, but very few are taught how it works in real life in companies, in security operations, and in competitive digital markets.
Why I Founded Institute of Rea
Institute of Rea was created to close that gap.
